About Us

'Panah' is an Urdu word meaning refuge, haven or shelter. It evokes an image of the shade provided by a sprawling tree. We envision therapy as a 'panah', a safe space to find care and support. From this safety, we can examine ourselves and find ways to grow and cope with challenges from within and around us.

Values

While forming our collective, the therapists of Panah considered the common tenets in our approach to therapy. Though each therapist has their own preferred modalities, theoretical emphases and style, we share core values that inform our work.
